To better understand what spiritual warfare is, we asked three former military officers to join us. Our first guest is Ret. Gen. Howard Prince, former Professor and Head of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership Studies, US Military Academy, West Point. Jim Wilson, a formal Naval Officer and Director of Community Christian Ministries is author of Principles of War, applies military strategy to evangelism using the Gospel as examples. Our final guest is Ret. Col. John Warden, architect of the air campaign of Gulf War I, and military rock star, who developed a strategic model now known as Warden’s Ring Theory.

Abortion is horrible. But over the last two weeks, America has learned that Planned Parenthood is not only murdering babies, but also selling their parts to profit those in leadership at Planned Parenthood. Currently the US government and most of the media are not covering the release of these videos. Instead they are obsessively covering the shooting of a lion. This week a California judge prohibited the release of another video.  In the face of all of this terrible evil, faithful Christians are provoked to wonder what are practical, feasible and strategic steps we can take to stop abortion in our nation.

Scott J. Mahurin, President of Florida Preborn Rescue, has significant, practical experience ministering to the preborn. He joins us in St. Anne’s Public House to explain how Christians can take practical action now to turn around.

Full Issue: Legacy – Three Generations of the Wilson Family Discuss the Impact of Faithfulness

Many of our listeners have asked for this, so here it is: our latest issue, Legacy, in one long podcast file.

How do we leave a legacy? The Book of Ecclesiastes warns us that in this world, “There is no remembrance of former things, nor will there be any remembrance of later things yet to be among those who come after.” However, Scripture tells us that there is hope. We’ll never leave anything that lasts unless we die to ourselves and make our aim making Christ’s name great.

Pastor Jim Wilson, has been a life-long evangelist and minister of the Gospel. For the last few decades he has been a pastor and evangelist in the Moscow/Pullman area. Jim is joined by his son Doug, also a pastor in Moscow, Idaho, and his grandson, Nate Wilson, a professional writer who teaches at New St. Andrews College.

He spoke to us for our St. Anne’s issue titled Leading Our Little Ones to Christ. In this podcast episode, he speaks with us regarding how he personally raised his teen sons in the faith. He also explains a rite of passage he created for his sons called a Bar Yeshua.

What is St. Anne’s Public House?

We really only have one frequently asked question, and that is, Why St. Anne’s Public House? As for the St. Anne’s part, that's short for the Company of St. Anne’s, a group of very average people who fight off the evil nasties of N.I.C.E in C.S Lewis’ novel, That Hideous Strength. We liked the idea that God uses pretty average people doing average things for His glory. The Public Houses and Coffee Houses of 17th Century England were places for public discourse. So it's the discourse, more than the alcohol, that we are emphasizing. But we do enjoy a nice Shiraz now and again. We used to be a primarily CD based journal.
